Highly recommended, but not required, to audition for The Nutcracker. Dancers will work on technique, choreography, and audition etiquette to prepare them to audition at their best!

Nutcracker Auditions
Saturday, September 12, 2026
Ages 6-7 | 9:00-10:00am
Ages 8-10 | 3:30pm-4:30pm
Ages 11-13 | 1:30-3:00pm
Ages 14+ | 10am-12:30pm
Completing your registration form ahead of time is encouraged. We have copies at the front desk, or you can print and bring one with you.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to audition time in order to finalize registration, receive your audition number, and warm up.
Attire
Female dancers: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in bun
Male dancers: White t-shirt, black pants, black ballet shoes, hair slicked back
Nutcracker Program Ads
Deadline: November 1st, 2026
Once again, we are offering the opportunity for families to purchase space in our Nutcracker Program to show special appreciation to their dancer! You can also purchase space for your personal business. We are offering 1/4, 1/2, and FULL page option. All program ads will be offered in full color printing.

Submit your payment and form to the front desk via check, cash or email to secure your spot!
Please submit your preferred photo and message by November 1st. Space is limited and first come, first served! Space in the program is reserved upon payment being received.
Rehearsals & Performances
The 2026 schedule is below.
Dancers attend weekly rehearsals on Saturday and Sunday afternoons/evenings at ABAA, and theatre rehearsals during "Nutcracker Week" leading up to the performance.
