Last night, our BAYE company members took their artistry beyond the studio walls for our “Locked-In” Lock-in, and it was an unforgettable night of community and connection. While our days are usually focused on technical precision and performance quality, last night was all about the heartbeat of any great dance ensemble: bonding and having fun!

What happens when you bring together a group of passionate dancers for 24 hours of non-stop energy? ✨Magic.✨

Défilé is a cherished tradition at Ashley Ballet Arts Academy: an intimate, semi-formal end-of-year showcase celebrating our dancers’ technique, artistry, and growth. This year, BAYE dancers will present Carnival of the Animals and Academy dancers will pursue the theme of The Symphony of Nature. We can’t wait to share this special moment with our dance family on May 23, 2026! 🩷

Reminder to families to return participation forms by Saturday, January 17th!

Our Nutcracker Prince this year is Sasha Haydn Zitofsky was born in Serov, Russia and grew up in New Jersey,where he began his dance training.By age twelve, Sasha had been featured in KidsBop,Toys-R-Us ads and various commercial projects. He was in the National tour of the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular.Sasha graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.F.A. In Dance Performancefeont he University of Southern California’s Glorya Kaufman School of Dance u see the direction of Jodie Gates.He got to work with renowned choreographers like William Forsyth, Matthew Newman, Victor Quinta,and Dwight Rhodes. Sasha has performed at the B12 Dance Festival in Berlin, a guest artist with Rocket Ballet,and a company dancer with Minnesota Dance Theatre. In his free time ,Sasha likes to be involved in the theatre,enjoys being an avid reader, and exploring his own choreographic voice! Sasha is very excited to be joining Ashley Ballet Art Academy’s Nutcracker!

Thomas Caleb Roberts will be dancing the role of Herr Cavalier along side Miss Emily as The Sugar Plum Fairy. They dance a beautiful pas de deux “dance for two” at the end of Act II. Here is Mr. Robert’s bio below.

Thomas Caleb Roberts began his pre-professional dance training at the Center for Dance Education under direction of Mimi Worrell. He graduated from SC Governor’s School for the Arts under the tutelage of Stanislav Issevand attended North Carolina School for the Arts ,studying with Ethan Stiefel.
